Spencer Massey, current IHRA Top Fuel points leader, is living life large to say the least. Massey earned his Top Fuel competition license less than a week before picking up his first win in the class at the IHRA season opening Amalie Oil Texas Nationals in San Antonio. Car owner Mitch King could not ask for more from Massey who has been near perfect behind the wheel with impressive wins including two against defending class champion Bruce Litton. Veteran tuner Paul Smith has turned King’s Top Fueler into a low 4.70 bracket car, combined with Massey’s touch on the tree and you have a winning combination. King is enjoying his team’s success after picking up his first win as a pro driver in Nitro Funny Car last season at Budds Creek.

Massey and King can be heard live on Sunday morning at on Racing Sports Live at 10 A.M. central time. Racing Sports Live is a Dallas based drag racing radio show in it’s second month on the air. You can listen online at Live 105.3 - Index or Racing Sports Live Radio on LIVE 105.3 Every Sunday or tune into Live 105.3 FM in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.

Massey will be competing in Gene Snow’s A/Fuel Dragster in Houston this weekend while King can be seen Saturday night at the Outlaw Fuel Altered Showdown in Denton, Texas. King will join Racing Sports Live Sunday morning live in the studio while Massey will join the show via telephone from Houston. Topics include Massey’s emotions after his stellar start to the year and how the team plans to keep the momentum in their favor heading into the IHRA Motor City Nationals in Milan, Michigan next weekend. There could possibly be chat about T.J. Zizzo’s “call out” in his recent press release posted in IHRA.com. Tune in Sunday morning at 10 A.M. central time at Live 105.3 - Index.
