Just like to let the Maters in the Northwest know that on January 15 we will once again be having a Speed Show in Albany Oregon. The event helps a local Salem man who is recovering financially from some high medical bills and has no means to pay them.
Headlining the show is Daren Bay and his 300 MPH “Incinerator” Jet car. Bay will be signing free color photos of the jet at the show. Also making an appearance is Jeff Ashwell and his NHRA NAPA Auto Parts Top Alcohol Funny Car. Jeff finished third in the NHRA Division 6 point chase.
If any teams out there have some worn out crew shirts of t-shirts they can no longer sell I'll be happy to find new homes for them.
Admission for adults is $7.00, Kids 10 and under are free. Discount coupons are available at mid valley auto parts stores and area merchants. Gates open at 9 AM and the show concludes at 8 PM. The Linn County Fair and Expo Center is located next to the Albany Airport on the east side of Interstate 5 on Knox Butte Road.
