... Almost 3 months out and he isn't listening to one thing I say about slowing down.

If that's normal... GREAT! If it isn't normal, get used to it because brain trauma of any type can change the norm. I continue to pray for a complete recovery.

Thanks Jeff and yeah it is normal. He grew up on a farm and is a Korean war vet. Set in his ways and still not afraid to tell you to shove it up your a$$ if you try to bs him. Only difference is he's sleeping in to 6 am now. Went to a Knights of Columbus diner last night with him and at 1 point in time thought how cool is this after a week before the surgery debating what the outcomes could be. Only thing left is and I may be wrong with the exact number(just finished packing up for a bracket race in the morning) the number 4 optical nerve that detached during the surgery is showing improvements. Nothing can be done to fix it so improvement with focus in the eye is the last step. And that is happening.
I do really want to thank everyone. It was a long, mentally taxing winter but spring is here(till the next snow lol) and racing fuel will be in the air in a few hours. Stay safe everyone.
