So Who Signed Your License?

Back in the dark ages, Don Garlits and John Weibe signed off on my Top Fuel license.

Dark ages. Mine was from the stone ages. I got my first top fuel license by the grand father system in those days, before there was a license requirement. I still have my UDRA license and in my tool box. And I survived the days before the license requirements, many did not.
PS: I have signed off so many i can't count

I was "grandfathered" i on my Pro Comp license, after having driven Bob Stratman's A/D for two years.

That's cool Chase, I remember your Pro Comp car but never knew you drove TF.
Thanks Nunz, When we got our nine month"time out" in Pro Comp from NHRA (Bret Kepner said it was't a "ban"), if we wnted to go test, NHRA said I needed a TF license, and we had to pay the track for TF insurance. I tested at a PRO race in Lakeland, FL After the first qualifying session, I was qualified second in TF (track was really loose), and PRO put me back in Pro Comp. Lost in the final to Frank Hawley's BB/FC, as I did not have lane choice, and got the recently well-oiled lane.

Chase, do you remember what car Hawley had then? I'm thinking that was probably after he wadded up the Titsworth Monze. But I remember he did crash it at Lakeland.
