Snap on To Cruz

Something to consider, just because they might back the Ped's doesn't mean that they will be getting the same amount of money that Doug was getting...Just saying....

Just talked with a Snap On guy a bit ago. He knew nothing. But that doesn't mean he really cares that much either, at least that's the feeling I got. For what it's worth.

Probably why they got the deal--if you have serveral good associate sponsors, which apparently they do, you can work a little cheaper.

Congrats to Cruz, I am excited to see he will remain on tour. I can only hope we will also see Tony out there.

wow there are so many other better racers out there than the crybaby boys, i thought kleenex was going to sponsor them!:D

how can you go wrong sponsorin' the pedregons.
car looks great - yes, wish the body would stay clean of other decals;
reminiscent of pisano fc's.
the side plates? / spill plates? on rear deck of fuel fc's are UGLY.....ruins the entire look.

They saw fit to go with a team that has the balls and integrity to race heads-up.

Oh come on Paul, some people see it as pulling the curtains away from the great Oz (JFR) and revealing how they truly race, which is hard for them to accept. For Force fans, the semi's in Indy was like the day they found out Santa Claus isn't real.:D

Yeah, Snap-On should have looked elsewhere. I mean why give $$ to a couple guys with only four World Championships between them. :rolleyes:

I'm not a huge fan of the Pedregon's but it is good to see they'll both be out there again this coming year. I'll be interested in seeing how well the Snap-On car does without Rahn Tobler calling the shots.

That said, I think if I, the fan, could've chosen, I would've asked Snap-On to fund a Top Fuel car over a Funny Car. I bet Doug Herbert would agree too. ;) I know, I know, it's not my money, so it's not my choice. I'm just saying that it seems the Flopper class is pretty secure with enough competitive teams to consistently fill a 16-car field but the diggers could use some help.

Either way, I'm glad they're back.

I find it amusing that Snap-On goes from a driver that has trouble keeping crew chiefs to.... a driver that has trouble keeping crew chiefs.

Either way, I'm glad Cruz has something.

From what I remember of this Snap-On deal it's not that good but if Cruz thinks it will do then more power to him!

I wonder who his new crew chief will be?
