NHRA® Spring Nationals – Houston
Pre-Race Report

Cruz Pedregon and team are heading to the Lone Star State and bringing with them the momentum of five very consistent runs and some personal successes aced in Las Vegas last weekend. "Now that I'm back as the tuner, it felt so great to have hit that 3.91 run. That’s the quickest run of my tuning career," Cruz said. "We're all holding our heads high, and we're excited to get to Houston Raceway to keep the positive energy moving forward with this Snap-on Dodge."
"We had the quickest quad of cars, and we could have taken 11 other cars on race day. So we're feeling good about the way things are coming together for the car and the team" says Glenn Huszar, Cruz's crew chief.
The Snap-on Dodge "El Incursor" aka "The Raider" body will be sporting a franchise-focused paint scheme for Cruz's primary sponsor over the next three races. Emblazoned with an "Own It" logo on the hood, it's a highly visible Snap-on franchise ownership opportunity message for fans watching from the stands, online and on FOX Sports. Cruz, who has been through Snap-on franchisee training, spends time in each NHRA race market with franchisees and their customers. On the side of Cruz's car – Check out Cruz's car this week, and you'll see the name of area Snap-on Nitro Franchisee Silas Regalado. Before becoming a franchisee five years ago, Silas installed car stereos but he wanted to forge his future and manufacture his own paycheck. He says he's always loved tools and, to him, owning a Snap-on franchise is like having a candy store. Even though he's been to NHRA races before, this will be his first time meeting Cruz.
