A slow bike (or car) can miss each shift and still turn about the same ET. A quick bike (or car) has to nail the run to make its ET. I've seen some silly car matchups. Like a mid 10 second Vette versus a bone stock VW Bug.

I would say the bug has an advantage except the whole red light situation.
This is bracket racing, performance is not the winning factor consistency is.

I've heard it said that quicker cars are more consistent than slower ones on average due to less time for things to change or go wrong in.

The super/Pro class at ORP has very competative driver with a 1st gen camaro that runs in the high 10's. Maybe I should get some of the fast guys to rally against the slow car. Get the rules changed and maybe someone else can get some money. Nah I like to see Jim take down the high dollar rigs!!!

I think everyone that wants to race should be allowed. We need all the racers we can get.

When the day comes where we have no more room at the racetrack, and the payouts too large, then we can start telling people we don't need their entry fee and they should either stay home or sit in the stands.

Some of the fastest and best racers we have started out slow and broke.

Of course most of us are still one... or both.
