Before Doug Kalitta blew a tire in 2023 or 2024, I think, when was the earliest TF tire failure before that? Doug’s failure was rapidly followed by Millican, Langdon, Mercier, and I think there was another one in there.

Top fuel cars have been running over 325, 330 for quite a while. Why were these failures not happening until the last couple of years? Or, flip this around, why are they just now happening? Any theories?
