Right after the cleanup for Ashley Force's mess, it started to drizzle.

The radar doesn't show any significant precipitation, but we are on hold.

Not posted on drag race central yet: "Ashley's car strikes the tire at the hit. She pumps it several times and the back of the car starts to swing back and forth. The front of the Ford drives into the guardrail almost head on and the fuel tank breaks. The throttle must have stuck, as the car swings back around and drives the back of the car into the guard rail. The body hinges back up on the chassis, as the the slicks continue to spin the car almost in circles in a pool of fire. Force finally gets the engine to quit and the car settles back down in the middle of the track. She pops out of the seat and let's everyone know that she is OK."

Be sure and watch the ESPN2 show tonight!! Scary!!!

It's quit raining and the track driers are at work. Bob Frey says about 15 minutes or so...

thanks David Gerard
I always watch the TV drag Racing show as well as listening to it,as well as reading about it in here.

It's started to rain again, as the first pair of Top Alcohol Dragsters are ready to start their engines.

The wet stuff is coming down harder than it has all day, so this may take longer than earlier delays.

Stay tuned for additional updates as they develop.
