You are correct, I think Jim joined the team in 1990 and burned the car to the ground a few times that year. The team bounced back nicely in 91. Who drove the car in 89? West?

That's a neat pic of Scott's... Oldsmobile I think. Note the primered wing. I don't know if Big Brad was still on thier crew at that point or not. Maybe Tim was onboard by then ??? If memory serves me correct, I think that car pictured either crashed or burned up later that year, then they went to the all-maroon Cutlass with gold logo which he drove up until getting into his Dad's dragster.

so, from the last two posts (which seem correct by the way) we can
hypothesize that 1998 funny cars represented their showroom brand
well, but the phrase race on sunday, sell on monday was more
like sell on monday, burn on sunday......
