Who's driving the "Hawaiian Punch" car here?

Pretty sure that's Johnny West. I think Jim White drove the "white" version? I think that may aso be the car that had the front end extension deal?

a 2nd vote for rick johnson.
i think he was after west?
also think '91 was the year jim white dominated

Answer should be Johnny West. We ran him a couple of times that year when I was working for Eric Reed.

Rick Johnson was before Johnny West--
Became the first funny car in the 5.50'S In Pomona 85 driving for Roland.

That's a neat pic of Scott's... Oldsmobile I think. Note the primered wing. I don't know if Big Brad was still on thier crew at that point or not. Maybe Tim was onboard by then ??? If memory serves me correct, I think that car pictured either crashed or burned up later that year, then they went to the all-maroon Cutlass with gold logo which he drove up until getting into his Dad's dragster.

what funny car didn't burn up in the late 80's?

so, from the last two posts (which seem correct by the way) we can
hypothesize that 1998 funny cars represented their showroom brand
well, but the phrase race on sunday, sell on monday was more
like sell on monday, burn on sunday......:D;)
