It just happend! So long, Mofo!
Now we really can say "Mission Accomplished".
Now we really can say "Mission Accomplished".
I heard a similar comment on the radio this morning. It amazes me that after all this time, people are still not seeing the bigger picture.
The mission is far from over. We'll never know how far along we'd be if the Liberal Left Media was not undermining the war on terrorism effort 24/7, or, if the majority of America 'got it' and supported our war efforts instead of acting as if they were experts on the subject.
Personally, I am opposed to Capital Punishment. However, I do support the rule of law, and that was carried out swiftly. And STILL the left is whining about Saddam's 'rights'. I hope this opens the eyes of many people.
I truly hope that Saddam's execution will bring some sort of closure to the tens of thousands of people left behind when he executed their loved ones. I'm sure the Kurds don't see justice served from their perspective, but hope they will believe he would have received the same sentence in his trials for what he did to their people. A person can only die once, regardless of how many criminal acts they committed and convictions they receive.
...........the truth is some people are going to die twice

Please don't take my words out of context. Surely you must know the context in which I wrote them. I was not making a spiritual statement.

if Saddam wasn't put in place and supported by the US we wouldn't be talking about him right now!
It's also a well known fact that our government put and supported the Shaw of Iran, (another Saddam), and that is one of the reasons they don't like us!
We have to stop meddling into other countries matters!
We need to fight smart and think ahead !
I found this link posted on another site…..
Supposedly it’s a “leaked” video of Saddam’s hanging. I watched it and it DOES show him dropping through the floor but it’s very poor video quality.

Meddling in other countries is fighting smart and thinking ahead. Of course it breeds resentment, nobody likes being a pawn in the global chess game. But as they say "my enemy's enemy is my friend".
