Looks like Rob was working for RWR on monday when Clay tried out Tony's canopy car

Clay and Jeff Lutz were just on with Brian from the SEMA show. At the end of the interview he addressed the crew chief change and said it was good for him and Tony. Also said he like driving a Tony's canopy car and is thinking about the change, RW told him whatever he wanted they would do. No mention if Ron left or was discharged.

Hmm. If true, and I’m not disputing it, it kinda sucks and my guess about why Rob left was kinda right. Bummer.

Edit, something doesn’t add up. Why didn’t they just move Rob to Clay’s car and Nick or Jim-O to Tony? The fact that Rob just “up and left”, or was let go hints at a deeper issue.
