you didn't hear?!?!?! dale jr is said to be running both NASCAR and nhra this year fielding himself a new Mercedes in pro stock with larry dixon driving a funny car after they got approval to run a 2012 vw golf body
I would think that's a pretty fair assesment. Maybe not so much with Aaron, as he did work with him he's a few years displaced. I think Rob has some things up his sleeve from there.

Not really a rumor, but Melanie Troxel was released by R2B2 today ... and R2B2 has shut down his FC operation.

Everyone associated with the Funny Car is done as of tomorrow ... so I guess Medlen is out. I believe Leah and Burgess will still run the Pro Mods.
EDIT: I see a thread has been started, so I will defer to that thread for this subject.

Does anybody else think that had Melanie won more rounds, maybe went to a final round or two. That IN-N-Out would still be around?

I believe the loss of the In-N-Out sponsorship had more to do with corporate/family infighting at In-N-Out than it had to do with Melanie or the team.
I agree. Either way from the outside it looked as Roger always had alot more invested than he got back, plus all the events he paid for when In-N-Out did not have a place in the state. I don't think the deal was beautiful, I think it was just cute.

How would any of us know about this, unless it made news somewhere? fact is IN-N-Out has made a TON of the Drag racing community, how some in that corporation find NHRA a Bad sponsor decision.

So the question then is why pay someone else to drive a car when you can drive yourself? In-and-Out doesn't need the publicity, it sells it selves.
Look I don't know Lynsi, never meet her, don't know nothing about her except she employs Jeff Utterbach who takes care of her personnal cars and transport vehicles, but lets not be too hard on her.
