With the 2010 NHRA drag racing season set to get underway this weekend in Pomona, CA, Rodger Brogdon and the Attitude Apparel Pro Stock team aren’t looking towards the end of the season, they’re focusing on the race at hand and plan on challenging the season one race at a time.

“The season is 23 races long and sometimes I think everyone gets caught up in that championship chase mentality,” said Rodger. “By taking it one race at a time and focusing on each race rather than the season as a whole we can accomplish what we need to be there at the end of the season.”

“We’ve got a new car and we’ve got a new look,” added Brogdon, “but we’ve got the same team and attitude that we had last year. The second half of the season we were running quite well and really mixing it up with the rest of the field and we don’t look for this season to be any different.”

“The season opener at Pomona last year was the only event we missed, so to say we’re anxious to get after it this weekend is an understatement. We would have liked to have put some more test laps on this new Jerry Haas Pontiac, but the weather just didn’t want to cooperate. Everyone else though has faced the same situation, so this weekend could be quite interesting. The weather forecast is looking pretty good, so I look for this race to become a crew chiefs race to see who can get their car dialed in the quickest.”

The new look for Brogdon and company comes from Attitude Apparel and the team will debut their new colors and logo this weekend. “Our look is quite a departure from last year, and we’ve got some exciting things planned to go along with the new look for this year, and it should be fun for everyone. Besides the new Attitude Apparel look, we’ve have some other exciting news that we will be releasing soon, so everyone in our camp is really excited about this season. We’re going to make a solid run for the championship, but we’re going to have some fun along the way as well, it should be quite the year.”

Be sure to keep up with Rodger and crew all season thru their Facebook and web page, Brogdon Racing and Roger Brogdon Racing.
