I watched a new show last night on TNT called "Sons of Anarchy" and it is about the same thing. It was pretty good! Looks like they are already telling the story.

People have a morbid curiosity about Outlaw Bikers like they do the Mafia. They are always curious yet keep they're distance! Here in NM this is Bandido country! And I do know about 5-6 of them, and they are pretty cool cats but I've seen what they do to wise asses who F**k with them!

I wanted to catch that Sons of Anarchy, I bet it does well!

The angels have been big players in harley drags for years. At one time there were six top fuel bikes running out of the mission BC chapter alone. That's slowly eroded as the authorities have ramped up their pressure, but folks like chicago joe from california, george welch and ron houniet from canada are still regulars. The bandidos used to run a couple nitro bikes as well, but you rarely see them any more.
One funny story. Several years ago the tribe of judah also ran a top fuel bike. They are a christian biker organization, I think from texas. In the season finals, their guy was running houniet and wouldn't you know it, the hells angel won the race with a time of 6.66. The announcer went wild, as did the crowd.

The real sad part of this whole thing that wasn't mentioned in the news aritcle was that Mark's son was standing right next to him when it went down!
I went to high school with a lot of the S.F. Chapter guy's I even played little leauge with some.
This fued has been going on for a long time. I've gone to the club house in the city to watch fight night it's not what you think it's Ultimate Fights on big screen TV.

Biker gang wars used to be real common years ago but after the Law got on them heavy they curtailed most high visibility activities.
With the priorities given to homeland security these days that old saying " When the Cats Away the Mice Will Play "comes to mind.
You can be sure more will follow, it always does.
