AS many of you know, Neil Peart passed away on January 7th of brain cancer. He was 67, way too young.

Anyway, the song that has been playing in mind and I've listened to a lot is Afterimage, off of Grace Under Pressure. Here it is, listen to this song and think about lost loved ones, friends, and heroes and what they mean to you.

rush was part of my growing up. i'm happy to see them get the accolades they deserved so many years ealier.
neil was shown on grammys sunday nite on their annual posthumous artist list.

Tough couple weeks for the drumming community. Neil, and this past week we lost Sean Reinert of Cynic fame and also drummer and drumstick maker-extrodinaire Ron Vater.
