Richie Stevens / Greg Stanfield 2007?

[Johnny Mopar]

Does anyone know the plans for Richie next year? I seem to remember this was the final year of his deal with DSR. Will Shoe renew him for next year and continue his pseudo Pro Stock effort, or will he move permanently to Roy & Alan Johnson, or will he move on? I'd like to see him stay with Mopar. With his driving skills and the top notch engine program the Johnsons have, he could be a real force next year!

Also, earlier in the year Mopar was courting Greg Stanfield. Does anyone know if anything came of that effort? What an awesome talent Greg is...I'd sure love to see him back in a Dodge.

I don't think you'll see Stanfield in a Mopar.I know Mopar was wooing him,but I think his offer ended up with the Panella's.

That's a shame...I'm greedy and want BOTH Stanfield and Panella behind the pentastar. Both are equally impressive. Stanfield was as quick as anyone most of the year, and Panella tested once, and instantly began outrunning established teams with full funding....very impressive!!!

It looks like as awesome year for Pro Stock is just around the corner!
