Racing Scanners

I am headed to Memphis in a few weeks, and want to buy a racing scanner. What do I need to look for? I have a Radio Shack and a Best Buy in my town. And where's a list of current channels. Can anyone help a brother out?

wait tell you get to the track... see the people at racing radios. they have rentals and sales. you need to get team freqs from them anyway. they are great people and will set it all up for you.

Agreed. It's Racing Electronics and you should find their trailer somewhere close to the Pro pits, manned by Bud & Kay Wimpee.
