I agree. I'm a born and raised Michigander but I've been a life long Redskins fan. It appeared that he was starting to turn his life around. My prayers to his family.

Very sad. I agree PJ. Last week his house was broken into, ransacked, and a knife left in the bed. That to me sounds like a women scorned. Then this time someone breaks in, and doesnt do anything but shoot him. 2 shots, first one missed and 2nd one hit him in the leg which normally is not fatal. So tells me that the gun men wasnt that great a shot. For some reason I think its screaming either a ex girlfriend or she hired someone to do it etc.

Also they interviewed some of the players on the Texans last night on the news about it and they were all saying stuff like , "You have to watch who you let in your inner circle" "You cant get caught up in people's lies and mistake them for real friends" etc so I def. beleive there is more to this story.

I agree with you Justin and PJ. Something doesn't sit right with me either. Supposedly he was beginning to change his (for lack of a better term) "thug" lifestyle. However I just don't feel that we are getting all of the story. Unfortunately I believe that he was involved with something that was the source for this crime.

Speaking strictly about football.... He was a huge part of the Redskins D. They added LaRon Landry another high draft pick safety year. Which allowed Taylor to freestyle a bit more this year. I believe he had 5 picks and was a just ferocious hitter.

Thanks Chris. I hadnt heard where he was shot at except for just hearing "leg" which could be anything. I was figuring thigh or so but wasnt sure. Could just be an off shot but that would support my "scorned woman" theory if he was shot in the crotch.

It needs to be said that even though a person may be in the process of turning their life around, there still may be consequences from their old life to deal with.

It is a sad deal. He was trying to grow up, used a machete for home defense (he knew he could not own a gun) and this happens while his girlfriend and young daughter were home.
