Question about something I saw on Clay's car. (1 Viewer)

On ESPN2 when they showed Clay's car on the slow-mo replay launching (before he smoked the tires) I saw something that looked like a power cord attached to a box, right behind the right-side headers. What is that?

Thats the juction box for the pyrometers.That is what tells the computer how hot each cylinder is.

Sam, the wire runs along the frame rail back to the coumpter the outher side of the box has the four wires that run to the top of the header and screw in it. they call them EGTs Exhaust Gas Temptures.
