qualifing ????

And don't forget to set your alarms for Midnight (PDT) to watch the ESPN2 qualifying show, that's 2:00 AM Central and 3:00 AM in the East.

God bless TIVO, should be a ratings grabber!

Looks like you will be seeing MLB recap on tivo. TV guide says I should be watching qualifying in Concord, N.C. but watching baseball recaps. Not that I really care at all about all the bs points resets, it would be nice as long as I'm still working at 2:30am to have it on in the background. Bumped from a 2am cst slot/3AM ET, the only thing I can think of is what a F&^%in joke.

I'm up. Qualifying didn't start until 4am. Baseball was on before that. Don't know why. It wouldn't surprise me if drag racing got delayed by the Mongolian basket weaving finals.

Lmao, I could see if it was a prime time slot but at 3 AM ET .... please explain what in my opinion is incompetence and or a weak contract.

I noticed a lot more use of the slo-mo shots... Guess they are getting ready for Mello Yello...:D

Lee, no love for Mongolian basket weaving? ;) But, unfortunately, our beloved NHRA Saturday qualifying broadcasts will take a back seat to ESPN's programming agenda. With college football in full swing and MLB winding down, the NHRA has again kicked to the curb. According to the ESPN programming guide, for the rest of the month, the Saturday qualifying shows will all be broadcast @ 3 a.m. EST. Totally sucks, but it is what it is.

Lets see, this thread has discussed Larry Dixon, Hillary Will, Khalid alBalooshi, ESPN qualifing time slots, ratings, AJR, Del Worsham, Shawn Langdon, and now Nuthuggers. What in the world would make anyone think that someone would derail this thread.:) LOL

Well since it hasn't been mentioned. Lets talk about MATER CREED:confused:

Mater Creed? Sounds like a crappy faux Christian rock band.

I don't think the Dote's car is mediocre. They have all the necessary go fast goodies, Kuch gets the car down the track, they qualify, win a round here and there and they don't oil down the track. You gotta walk before you run folks, and it seems to me they are building their program in a logical manner (driver merry-go-round aside). The only thing not to like in my opinion is the paint job, purple and green  ?!?

What, you don't like purple and green.:D

I see Dixon was .053 r/t in his first rd defeat . . . we may only have two more views of it, but the driver makes a difference there.
