Anybody have any info? Don't see anything on PBIR's site about testing. Is it going to be private this year or not held at all? Wild Horse Pass still has Feb 6th listed as an open-to-the-public event. However, instructions for purchasing tickets were apparently translated from Swahili -

The "Palm Beach Beatdown" days are over. Infinite Hero and Make A Wish teams have already been testing in Gainesville. Looks like the main test will be in Phoenix the week before Pomona.

Sooo . . . ya show up at Wild Horse Pass with new equipment (manifold), hope the track is ready and you have good results a week before Pomona. Could be some very nervous teams if they don't get good tuneup information. I'll be there and it should be fun to watch!

Jim,

The teams will be conducting some private test sessions a week before the 'open to the public' session in PHX.

Kind regards,

Michael.

Great John, there is a contribution worthy of taking seriously. Think of it, a governing body the people don't like .... imagine that!

The brevity of pre-season testing (or the near lack of it, if you follow the Elite teams) is one fan downside of the Countdown type format. Overall, it makes sense to me (not sure where John stands on that, but I'm sure he'll weigh in), but it makes January and February pass a little slower!

Was forced at gun point by one of their tribal officers to park at their casino when waiting to make a delivery at a company that they rented a warehouse too. If you want to spend your money there, have fun. This tribe and some others take care of the top, but not much at the bottom. Sound like the NHRA with their bonus system? There are very good tribes, this is not one of them.

LVMS will be holding a test on February 6-8 also, Tad Tafc sportsman are all invited and any pros that want to come are also invited

couple years ago before JFR lost sponsors, the PBIR test was really a great, well attended event.
