I think those were tears of joy. She’s doing really well and she’s emotional and is surprising herself. I think she’s also emotional about her daddy.I agree that Torrence beat himself, but that was Jasmine crying about? She was the beneficiary.
It appears that KB-Titan has figured out something Elite hasn't. Greg is showing the way right now.Which was surprising because the track not only had a day's worth of rubber laid down on it and the surface was 90 degrees which sounds ideal. Mid 3.60s and mid 3.80s should have popped up on the boards on all 4 passes. Always glad to see Clay do well; Jim Head's new guy, too.
Off the subject just for a moment - what the hell has happened to Erica Enders and her car? At the Gators her car shook like a dog crappin' a razor blade in E1. Her lights last weekend in AZ were .085, .032, .085 and .109 in qualifying and .108 in E1, where the car once again crapped a razor blade. She DID cut a good one today but the car said blah and appeared to bog out of the gate, costing her the race by .07. Dummy Pedregon blamed the loss on a lack of horsepower despite her trap speed being as high as everyone else other than Matt Hartford.
Pretty sure elite has some missing key guys due to health reasonsIt appears that KB-Titan has figured out something Elite hasn't. Greg is showing the way right now.
That my be the case, but a couple of Elite's key personnel, are battling health issues, which is probably contributing to them falling behind. It appears that KB-Titan has figured out something Elite hasn't. Greg is showing the way right now.
I believe your incorrect on the personel at elite, they are short a couple guys but they will be backIMO kb/titan excelled over the off season. both teams were neck and neck all the way into the finals last year.
there is no shortage of money or personal at elite. they flat out got crushed at pomona.
what would be interesting to know is what area/s is kb/titan excelling in? (honing/rings/manifold/fuel delivery.....just to suggest a few?)
tight lips in the PS pits right now for sure.
leatherwood distillery is back, on front wing of ida's TF'r
hard to have a favorite in all pro finals yesterday, that being said, does it seem odd that with temp in 60's and track temp in 90's,
that all 4 nitro finalists struggled with traction?
I think you're correct but 6.47... is pretty toughPretty sure elite has some missing key guys due to health reasons
Pretty sure Leatherwood is one of team owner Joe Maynard's companies.IMO kb/titan excelled over the off season. both teams were neck and neck all the way into the finals last year.

I believe Jason Line is now involved with Elite on some Level. I always thought Jason and Greg were joined at the hip, but, as with most relationships theirs eventually came to an end alsoTwo of Elite’s top guys are dealing with health issues. That will show on the race track. They will get it turned around.
Mark Ingersoll Erica's crew chief had a double lung transplant in the middle of last season. Two of Elite’s top guys are dealing with health issues. That will show on the race track. They will get it turned around.
Quote from Clay Millican in Speed Sport Dailyevery car in both fuel finals had problems. They were all loaded up for bear. Driver's races.
Drag Racing is the only Major Sport, i can think of, where a 60 year old, can compete, equally with a 20 year old. when you think about it, the only limiting factor, with regard to driver age, is your ability to 'take a punch' or in other words, survive a wreckFunny Car winner Jack Beckman 58 years old!
Top Fuel Winner Clay Millican 59 years old!
Pro Stock Winner Greg Anderson 64 years old!
Very Cool!
