I feel like we have this discussion a lot about Pomona. Let’s hope they are wrong about this forecast, this is the first time I’m going to Pomona for the race…

I always watch the weather in advance of Race Week. it looks OK ? But too soon to really tell. One thing, If it says maybe rain, Usually means Rain in Pomona for sure. LOL.

That's a bad forecast. With the previous "normal" Winternationals dates of sometime in February, the weather was frequently dicey. But I would think in April we would be fine. In fact, today (Sat the 4th) it is a bit too hot here in the LA area in the high '80's. I'm planning to go on Sat, as I think that is the best day for a National event. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Haven't you guys learned yet that NHRA will do everything in it's power to run the event? And if they lose some time to weather they will still get the race run?

And, yes, I know what happened at the Finals, that was no the same as what is predicted here.

Personally, I don't waste time worrying about stuff I can't do anything about.

Spencer ran his car at GALOT a couple weeks ago. They will be at Charlotte next.

in regard to starting season in pomona again, which i thought i had read will happen again next year?
3 races in and a bye in TF. sorry folks, when there is little TF ownership on the west coast at present time, doesn't it
make sense to keep the opening race in gainesville? where the chance for full fields is much better?
