How do you post pictures to this site HELP!! James

You need the pic to be hosted in jpg format usually (I use photobucket, it's free) and have the IMG tabs on it, or click the postcard looking symbol on the top of the box you type in to post.

So,
you have the pics on your computer, yes?

OK, they need to be uploaded to a "storage" place on the net.
There are many, some you pay for so you can have extra features.

You can choose what resolution you want.
In other words, you can choose it to be a tiny "thumbnail" image or you can make it a massive pic that requires a viewer to scroll back and forth to view it.

You can upload one pic at a time or you can use a "bulk" uploader and u/l tons of pics in one shot.

Once that pic is online somewhere, it then has it's own "address" or "URL" info.

Copy the URL.

Now you can go to a forum and paste the URL info in between image tags.

Go to my post above and click "quote" (but don't submit anything).
You will be able to see how the tags work.

Now you can post into a thread.

You can right-click a pic and choose "properties" to see it's URL.
Highlight the URL info, then right-click over it and choose "copy".

You've got to be kidding. That's the process for loading pics on this site? All of that to load a pic? I can't believe in this day and age that something as simple as "cut & paste" can be so difficult. Can't something simpler be done to load pics? That is cRaZy.....

John, I think it has to do with bandwidth and this site can only has so much. Pictures use up a lot of bandwidth so you have to use an external source to host the pictures. Correct me if I'm wrong you computer folks more savvy than me, but that's the way I understand it.
