What happened to 10 (ridiculously too slow) to 15 mph pit speeds, in the case of the Pro teams at national events? I was watching Phoenix and the rideback with Beckman, and I almost got vertigo- they were flyin through the pits on the strap.

If the reason for the pit speeds is safety....

(I ask because I've personally been called out at Firebird trying to make a semi's call... NOT on the way BACK to my pit...)

You forget sir, this is the same outfit that allows towing with driver sittin outside the rollbar, with the door open....yet you must have a driver IN SEAT to start it on jack stands......:confused:

At Indy one year Shelly got a ticket for going too fast to pick up Jay, but the pros have an escort, so it's okay.....

Maybe we can get G. Light to see if the tow vehicles have some sort of aerodynamic advantage that's causing pit speeds to rise.

All we need to make "cheater" shroud controversies disappear is to mount G. Light on a wire above the shutdown area and let the bilious cloud of hot air that emanates from his pie hole slow the cars down.

No chutes necessary. Quicker turnaround times for all classes, shorter, more action-packed shows ... all equaling a better fan experience.

See tool, use tool.
