Allowing on-board Video cameras on Junior Dragsters (NHRA)
Looking for as many signatures as we can get on this one... NHRA banned the use of on-board video cameras in Jr. Dragsters- why, we have no idea- it was never explained to the teams.
A lot of teams use these cameras for seeking sponsorship or to determine what their child is doing during a pass, in an attempt to make them better drivers. The videos on YouTube have helped the class gain some well deserved air time, especially since NHRA does not market the series at all on any of its shows. With two truly "National" events, as well as a sanctioning body-backed points series in Division 7, the ability to self-market the future of the sport has taken a direct hit with this ruling.
You don't have to race in the class to sign, and the option to donate to the signature collection site is just that- an option. We're just hoping that we can at least get the attention of NHRA... Thanks folks
