I'm sure it was exactly what Mopar and AJ wanted but probably not what GM or Ford or anyone else wanted.

Time to drop Pro Stock and put Pro Modified in its place!
It's obvious the actual manufacturers don't care about the class and Pro Mod is so diverse and more exciting!
If they make Pro Mod a legitimate class there will probably be large fields showing up to fill the sixteen car field!
I know Pro Stock has a lot of history but the class is slowly dying a slow death just put them out of their misery!

I hate to see it happen but would the last Pro Stock racer please turn off the lights when they are done.
It's a sad day to see such a popular series simply hanging on right now for dear life.

Nothing like watching basically the same cars with just different plastic wrap going down the track BORING!
No more manufacturers wars it's really sad!
Pro Stock use to be my favorite class a long, long, long time ago!

Guys, the PM racers don't want to replace PS, they bumped their number of races to 12, I think that's about the limit. They definitely don't want 24. Oh and they already have around 30 cars showing up to qualify.

Keep Pro Mod at 12 for affordability and CUT Pro Stock to the other 12 but all at Indy

How many TF cars are permanently on the tour? They too are all basically the same cookie cutter cars with plastic wrap going down the track. How can they possibly survive?

I used to love PS. Manufacturer rivalry is what it WAS all about. Back in the 70's it was the fan favorite as one could actually relate to those cars. Not any more. They are just slow funny cars.

And then there are the funny car bodies? All the same, just a different wrap. And they don't even look like the car they are suppose to represent...not even close.

I still like Pro Stock,and even though there are only 3 Mopars running,the class needs to change. They need to go to a stock bodied car,with factory engine 14x32 tire size and superchargers. This is what is on the streets now,and would be more appealing to the newer fans.Back to the old win on Sunday,sell on Monday.
