$100,000 Fireworks Show!Among the longstanding traditions at Summit Motorsports Park are the explosive and encompassing fireworks offered at the conclusion of the show. Fireworks are ignited from multiple locations for improved impact, and in red, white, blue and other colors, they dance to carefully-choreographed patriotic music that is both inspired and inspiring. Designed to be dramatic as well as delightful, they’re known to be far grander than those of neighboring cities, and just when it appears that the last of them has been seen, heard and felt, gas bombs reverberate throughout the facility, leaving fans flabbergasted.
The nearly fifteen minute spectacle costs $100,000 to produce and leaves no wonder as to why it’s now famed and fabled.

• Jack Wyatt - the UnknownThis is only racetrack in the country where you will see contemporary Fuel Funny Cars race in a non-point scoring meet situation. However, there is still a lot at stake… they will be competing for the honors of being the Night Under Fire Champion!
Fans will see two rounds of racing; the first round is qualifying and the second round eliminations. (6 v. 5, 4 v.3, 2 v.1, the two quickest meet in the final pairing of the night)

Bob Motz - the King of Quake Chris Darnell - the Understudy
You’re not going to see the typical over the road semis here, more like a hybrid between a Kenworth, a Peterbilt and a jet plane! Bob Motz driving the original Jet Truck, a J79 GE Single Engine Kenworth, and Chris Darnell driving a Peterbilt powered by three (3) Pratt & Whitney J34-48 jet engines, the worlds only triple engine jet truck. Between these two beasts that’s over 60,000 Horsepower and 30,000 tons of thrust! You’ll feel all that power rumbling in your chest, when each launches off the starting line.
The Royal Battle of the Sexes racing Jet powered Dragsters at 300 miles-per-hour!
• Jill Canuso - The Queen of Diamonds
• "Scotty Heat" Holdridge - the King who will make Jill his QueenThe undefeated fan favorite, Jill Canuso will show race fans what its like to run 300mph in a jet dragster and in the process show Scotty Heat whose “Queen”. Scotty Heat is not going to interfere with her going 300mph, but he is going to attempt to ‘dethrone’ the Queen! Will give him three chances to try, but if she wins the first two…he goes home and she continues her ‘reign’ at Summit Motorsports Park!Jet Funny Cars! • Rich Hanna - the World Record Holder
• Ken Hall - the ChallengerThese two will duel for more than ‘bragging rights’. Ken Hall with his Top Secret jet funny car will challenge Rich Hanna for an opportunity to break one or both of his records. Rich Hanna driving the GoJo Firebird currently holds both the track and the world speed (295mph) & ET records (5.42) in the jet funny car category. The best two out of three races will be crowned this year’s winner!

Prowler - One Cool Cat Predator - the Destroyer
These Monster-styled pickup trucks will first entertain race fans with a freestyle performance followed by a drag race to the finished line. When drag racing, both trucks will also be attempting to break the World Record Speed Run by exceeding 100 miles-per-hour in just 1320’.
X16 presented by Donald M. Graham & Associates - The "X" stands for EXTREME!
The fastest and most unpredictable cars from the four corners of North America race in "X16"…The “X” stands for EXTREME! 250+ mile-per-hour Outlaw Pro Mods and Outlaw Dragsters compete in front of a packed house for a share of twelve thousand dollars ($12,000.00) in prize money, bragging rights AND the title of Night Under Fire X16 Champion! Eight supercharged, methanol-burning and injected nitromethane burning, Front Engine Dragsters (FED), Altereds and Door Slammers, 1979 and older from the Nostalgia Drag Racing League, will compete to be the first to the finish line without running quicker than 7.00! Two rounds of qualifying followed by eliminations. Winner takes all!

Before there were funny cars…there were gassers. Eight to ten period correct, ill-handling, short wheelbase gassers will skate down the quarter-mile entertaining fans like they did back in the good ol’ days of drag racing! Many of these hotrods will even have those famous B.U.G.s (Back up Girls) to help them stage!
This too will be a two round show, with the first round being a qualifier. The final round will start with the slowest pair and concluding with the fastest two qualifiers racing for the gold!
Plus…the UNEXPECTED, the UNKNOWN and the UNBELIEVABLE!
