The Musco Lighting Night of Fire is this Saturday, July 2 at Eddyville Raceway Park. If your looking for high energy entertainment, the 2011 Night of Fire is the event to attend. Explosive Nitromethane entries from across the Midwest will be in attendance. NHRA Super Star Ron Capps will be behind the wheel of the "Crop Duster" Nitro Nostalgia Funny Car as he takes on Doc Halladay driving the Telstar, plus the Punisher and the Showtime entries. In addition, Rapid Randy Baker will drive his new Funny Car against the front engine Top Fuel Dragster of Dale Suhr. Not to be outdone the Nitro Fuel Altereds will be in attendance including the crowd favorite Nitro Madness.
The Night of Fire will also feature two wheelstanders including the unique Wheelie Wagon and the Chevy Rebellion. The burner popping Jet Cars return with the first lady of Jet Funny Cars Frannie Peppler as she takes on upstart Josh Krueder in his Strip Teaser Dragster. The outrageous Super Stock Mafia are back in full force with their wheelstanding antics. The event also includes the gear jammin' Ozark Mountain Super Shifters, the Victory Performance Nostalgia Super Stocks and a great Fireworks Show.
The feature show is underway at Saturday at 6 PM but your encouraged to come out early for a great day of sportsman racing as well.
