Last night in Denver, Bandimere PACKED the house again with their Night of Fire and Thunder (even though the weather was dang cold and the threat of rain lingered all day...)

It's because Bader and Bandimere know how to "DO IT" folks...

It's funny. All you ever hear is Bruton Smith this, Bruton Smith that. The best thing that could happen for the NHRA is ownership and operation under Bill Bader, period.

I sure wish Bill Bader would buy the TEXAS Motorplex !!
Billy Meyer doesn't even open specatator gates until 1-2 hours after the cars start qualifying on Friday & Saturday !! And they couldn't care less about the spectators..... :-(

I just came in from Norwalk. They couldn't get the cars in the lots fast enough to relieve the traffic on Saturday. But yes, they were giving the tickets away all over town. The locals wanted to see the Koolbus and Bob Motz I guess. The stands were "as usual" on Sunday. There were a lot of Sportsman entries. I think the car counts were better than Atlanta.

Any one who bought tickets to the Summit Nationals in June yes got free tickets. But I still think it is because Bader knows what the hell he is doing!

I'm glad I didn't make the trip. I was going to as they did send me some freebies I would have been ticked driving 2.5 hours for nothing.

Not surprised though Bader is the best. I have wished for years that he would be top dog in NHRA. If they truely wanted to go the "next level" then just hand it off the the Bader family and their team.

I went down Friday night and camped. I pulled out Sunday afternoon. I got the free tickets with my Summit Nationals tickets like mentioned. I did buy the Summit Club seat for Saturday. I had an absolute blast! Great weekend. I love Norwalk! Always have. I'll do it again next year.

HOW TO FILL THE STANDS WITH A SPORTSMAN RACE

There is a divisional memorial day weekend at maple grove I always race SC at, the stands usually get pretty full on there own. I really hope they do something like norwalk and give the tix for free, that'd be great to see them packed especially with all the top alcohol heavy hitters and top sportsmen/dragsters.
