I agree that the passenger should have something to grab onto during the run. He seemed lost as to what to do with his hands in the video. Either a dummy butterfly or an oh shit handgrip of some sort.
I can't imagine that there are not dedicated hand-holds. That would be a pretty basic inclusion.
