I guess the rumor about there being a shortage of clutch discs for the nitro cars is false according to this:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Boninfante Performance Clutch Parts and Raybestos continue alliance for 2009 and beyond

YEADON, Pa. -- In a joint statement Nick Boninfante, owner of Boninfante Performance Clutch Parts and Frank Slocum, Vice President of Sales & Marketing of Raybestos Powertrain announced today that the rumor circulating on the internet about Raybestos getting out of the performance clutch business is untrue.

"Due to the economic downturn Raybestos has, in fact, has closed down some sections of their manufacturing facilities but the company will continue to build sintered discs manufactured at our plant in Crawfordsville, Ind. for many years to come," Slocum said. "There is no shortage and we're currently shipping product out the door every day so teams don't have to worry about getting the parts they need to race. Consolidation is a way of life in the automotive industries these days."

"We're the largest supplier of Raybestos products to the drag racing industry and we'll continue to supply Raybestos clutch discs for many years to come," Boninfante added. "We've got a lot of inventory, enough to last for years and we'll continue to produce what the racers need. We stock batches of discs and draw from them to make the finished discs."

Boninfante Performance Clutch Parts is the largest supplier of clutch assemblies and components for the majority of the Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars competing today. Boninfante also builds complete clutch assemblies for Pro Stockers along with thousands of sportsman racers, in not only the U.S. market but also for the overseas drag racing series. Boninfante is also capable of supplying custom clutch assemblies built to the customer’s specifications for any racing series.

I have a friend named SEYMOUR RAYSIN that told me
Clutch Disc's this year/ Nitro last year---- there's only a bigger shortage of racers and sponsors EVERY YEAR , no shortage of degree'd leadership, I wonder if we could actually do better in reverse?
