Nice Friday at Firebird

Man much better day than last October! Beautiful weather, cars ran pretty good and not one oil down in the pro's Pro Stock jumped a little in the second session, everyone thpough Heads 4.10 would hold #1 for the day and the the last run of the day in TF produced the 5th quickest ET in 1000' history. Kind of cool to see a guy in Top Dragster run it out the back door and go 5.89.

Unfortunately, the Top Dragster rules specify that any run quicker than 6.000 will be disqualified. As Jon Bradford had a broken pass in the first session, he went from #1 to unqualified at #34 with his 20.472 ET!

Yes, Friday was the best Friday I have ever attended at Firebird. No major downtime of any kind. And the weather was perfect.

and - APPARENTLY - the racers are happy with the racing surface.
