NHRA's new ruling H.D.

Angelle proved that the small rider could get down behind the fairing.

As for the weight, a Suzuki with a 200 lb rider and another one with a 100 lb rider, both have to weigh the same minimum when they roll across the scales.

Based on who is competing in 2012 I'd say they think Lighter is better!

That 20 lbs really slowed them down. /sarc

Looks close from my seat. The Arana's are right there with Eddie, sometimes out running Eddie. Andrew's bike has been off and isn't running with those 3. The Arana's keep shooting themselves in the foot otherwise they would have a win or two this year. Like Steve Johnson said, the V&H team is being penalized for out working everyone else over the winter which that goes against what this sport stands for.

Like I said in the other thread... tune your bike the best you can and don't be late! You likely have a chance. Look how many were throwing it away on red lights. Andrew lost on a holeshot. Sometimes H.P. isn't everything.

Hector had the quickest bike here this weekend. You can't dispute that can you?

Did you miss what Tonglet was saying about the Suzuki's? Pretty pathetic that the Suzuki's that carried the class for many years can only get 3 to qualify now. Like Kurt, I also want to know when anybody else besides Hardly/V&H will be allowed to run a 160 CI V-twin with 4 valves per cylinder and no pushrods.

And there were even less Kawasakis.
I'm a 4cyl guy-but the writtings on the wall for the Suzuki. The only shot they have is perfect weather conditions. (or of course great lights and "ladder luck".) The Buells have become a better choice.
Suzuki didn't carry the class-it was just the best combo at the time.
The V-Rods only take up 2 qualifying spots.
