Don't know if you guys remember the first design of the Year in Review DVD for the Countdown thing, but it had Hot Rod on it.
Now, the cover has Schumacher on it. I just thought it was kind of humorous.
I know that he was the front runner in points at the time that they announced it, but so were 3 other drivers. There was always a hint of speculation from folks (I don't buy it) that NHRA wanted a new champ besides Shoe, and they tried a couple of different times to step in. (Not what this thread is about).
Think it's just pure coincidence, or did they "hope" their preliminary design was the final design, and have to change it after "their" champ wasn't crowned.
