also - why doesn't tv coverage ever show just how close to the bay
this facility is? - love the shots from downtrack showing strip with
conoco/phillips refinery (across bay) in background.

Awesome pics Mark. You have a gift, especially for drag racing action photography. Those pics make me want to pay a visit to Infineon Raceway now. I will be in the Bay area in 2 weeks as I have planned our summer vacation around the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in Monterey/Carmel, CA. My parents happen to live nearby so visiting family and taking in the sights of Pebble Beach at the same time. Looks like you made a nice trip out of visiting the bay area too.
