NHRA Midwest Nationals

bode, creasy and haddock, close but no cigar.
congrats to blake on his 3.95, in only his 2nd race as owner/driver 👍

Chip King first 5.50 pro mod run
Awesome Chris Farley GIF

There's nothing wrong with the track prep. There were good runs made. All of these tracks have a personality. Also, with the good air, it's easy to be overtuned.
Qualifying sure didn't live up to the hype especially Q2. Lots of excitement and drama though and really fun seeing all the part timers and a first timer that showed up. Missed seeing Zizzo Racing. Track will be warmer tomorrow but we'll see what all the nitro teams learned, might be really good racing.

- only (4) FC races yesterday where both cars made representative runs to finish line.
- regardless of austin's ill advised comments, it's really something to watch them this year.
- shawn reed's 4.16 in TF semi's was only run out of 3.70's all weekend. 6 solid runs in a row in 3.70's until then. shawn, ryan elliot and team 👏
- don't look now, but will smith has the most points of any pro scag team car (5th place)
- D5 runner j. diekama with heads up AA/S win in STK 👍 .... he was part of 'in the lanes' the other day too.

Curious if Jasmine Salinas was compensated for her solo run in Lane round two
