Oh man. Reminds me of a story from Brainerd. I was riding with a racer in the ZOO on a Wednesday night. He put a hot dog with a bite out of it under an orange cone over where Bud corner used to be. He said "If this thing is still here Saturday night, I'll eat it" Well... We drove by Saturday night, picked up the cone....and it was still there... and he ate it.

oh boy, i hope they run clean on sunday. that's a tight schedule if their early FOX window is 1-3pm cst.

I'm a hundred miles SE of WWT in Southern Illinois and their is a strong cold front coming through here and St. Louis tomorrow dropping temperatures from mid to high 80's today down into the 70's. Believe it or not the humidity here this afternoon is 43% at 89 degrees!

hopefully the temperature for today's 8pm Q2 session will hold just above dew point.
will there be a 3 sec. FC field by the end of day? i think there might be.
somebody/s unexpected is going to run their best e.t. ever and get in field, while at least
one or two well funded cars will swing and miss and maybe not get in by saturday end.
feel like a kid in a candy store. wish i was there today. could be one for the record books.

Being Terry Haddock made a string of good runs recently, including some 3 second runs, I think there is a good chance when it's all said and done. I think the car that makes or breaks it is Blake Alexander.

First factory stock car ran 7.56. The class is really pushing the 7.50 certification. It’s going to be stupid fast out there today. Heading to the track in 10 minutes. I’m excited!
