If you don't follow the NHRA Insider podcast this is a good one to watch. Tony lit a fire under Erica Enders and she pushed right back:
Yeah Tony pressed her, and she answered with sensible explanations. All good. But I agree she didn't need to talk money. JMOShe didn't put Tony P. in his place, because he's going to continue to call it like he sees it and ask questions, because that's the job of being an analyst.
I like how she threw her teammates finances out there. So thin skinned, she can kick rocks.
Tony P always sounded like a tool. I have given up on noting remarks he makes that don't go anywhere. It was very sad that they tossed off Mike Dunn, who gave thoughtful, intelligent and competent analysis. He even learned how to drive a Pro Stocker so he could understand that category better to comment on it. Shirley called Tony a "boxer" about the 2010 Indy brawl, and now I get it. Maybe got knocked in the head a few too many times. And he seems to have chips on his shoulder he can't get over.10:36 - that little girl behind Enders - hilarious. I bet anything she's dying to meet Enders
Man, Tony P......what a tool. Not a fan of Enders but I loved how she put it back on him several times. When Tony asked about what can be done going forward, or in the future, or whatever, to make the sport better she should have said "get a better analyst". He made her look good and she exposed him I think.
Can't have "analysis" without "anal" it seems.
They pay over 1 million each to race and yet when Greg won Sonoma, they took his car away and gave it to Erica. Yes it was her old car but if I’m paying that money to race, I wouldn’t want my car taken away after a victory.Yeah Tony pressed her, and she answered with sensible explanations. All good.
