2 months ago, I was in the emergency room at the hospital. It was the first time I had been tested. Negative. Syphilis, also Negative. I was there for stroke symptoms and abdominal pain. Never could figure why in the world they would be testing for that.

Last Monday, I spent all day there for the abdominal pain, and they tested for HIV. I'm like wth? After reading my release form, it is SOP for them to test anyone over 13 for those now.

After almost 30 years of battling these stomach issues, they found a few things that are not good. But in my mind, the not knowing has been the worst and most frustrating part. I just want to know what is killing me.

Now, if they would just call back, and let's carve this turkey.

Now I wish I had gotten video of that street performer I talked about when my wife and I were in Vegas for this year’s 4 wide.
He had a tennis ball attached to his baseball cap and was punching it.
If laughter is the best medicine, a video of that guy would cure anything.

I do a lot of laughing, and try my best to make others as well.
I'm not giving up on anything. Not asking to be put at the front of any line. I just need to know I am in line.
And just don't ignore my plea, when I do ask for help. That has never been me. I'm usually the first to help anyone that needs anything.

I will be good. Sleeping isn't living however. One day at a time. That's all I can say.

Some of the nostalgia guys were up there last month, The Hitman is from Washington, the Artic Traveler is from Alaska (I think), and Derrick Moreira comes from Hawaii but the car is kept here in So. Cal. The Bubble Up car says in Arizona too. So there is a way to get it done.

The Arctic Traveler and the Bubble Up funny cars are from Edmonton. But there are a lot of Americans who make the trip up for that race, yes.

And yes, Canada is run by a very oppressive government currently. However, most real Canadians (AKA - the type that love drag racing lol) find a way to enjoy as much freedom as possible. In spite of high costs and sh*t government. And out of all the oppressed areas in Canada, Alberta is the least oppressed.

Regular unleaded is 1.32 and diesel is around the same. in Canadian dollars. which is $5 a gallon. Canadian. Which makes it currently $3.71 per gallon in US dollars, which is cheaper than many states right now. So the dollar value and the fuel prices play a significant role in making a business case as well.

And as someone who lives in a tourist area, we are seeing a lot more USA license plates this year, which happens when there is more value to the dollar. 1 US dollar is worth $1.35 CAN.

What about Mission...?

I’ve always been curious as to how Mission could possibly make this work. Parking would obviously be an issue but is there land that could be rented and fans shuttled? It would obviously need facility upgrades as well or possibly temporary grandstands installed. I would volunteer all my spare time to help make this happen
