Funny how so many don’t realize that you better start dealing with politics or else the politics will deal with you. Most likely in ways you won’t like. This is something I have understood since I was 10 years old. Why the hell can’t so many of you grown adults figure that out? While this may not be the “BEST” place to discuss politics, you trying to shut down conversations is totalitarian and shouldn’t be tolerated either.

Just got back from a bear hunt in Manitoba. Getting across the border and back could be problematic. The price of everything is very high in Canada. Think you would have very low car counts.

I just took a look at hotel prices in Edmonton for the weekend after next. No idea what they’d have been two or three weeks back, but the Fairmount, probably the nicest place in town, is $174 US per night and the usual brands, Sheraton Four Points, Courtyard, Holiday inn, etc are about $100.

So what you pay extra in gas (about $5 per gallon now) you’ll make up for in cheaper hotels!

Are you sure about that? I’ve been stuck in Canada for 3 years because the land of the free wouldn’t let me in until MAY of this year, all because I didn’t have a covid shot.

Some of the nostalgia guys were up there last month, The Hitman is from Washington, the Artic Traveler is from Alaska (I think), and Derrick Moreira comes from Hawaii but the car is kept here in So. Cal. The Bubble Up car says in Arizona too. So there is a way to get it done.

Just doing the mappings. If they run Norwalk last weekend in June. Give teams two full weekends off, Head to Edmonton mid July (1834 miles from Indy) (Run only Top Fuel and Funny Car PRO Shows), Teams then travel 831 miles south to Seattle (Join Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle), Teams than travel 774 miles to Sonoma (with Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle to finish out the western swing). Give teams another 2 full weekend break and head to Brainerd two weeks before Indy. I think that could work. At Edmonton you can add Pro Mod or Mountain Motor Pro Stock.

I think Al Hoffman ran the China Syndrome??? F/C years ago. China Virus could be a cool name for a Nostalgia F/C. Lotsa movies with a virus theme that could be great names for nostalgia cars. Lessee, 28 Weeks Later, The Omega Man, Contagion, Z, etc etc.
