NHRA/Camping World New Title Sponsor (1 Viewer)

I just became a Camping World customer yeasterday.Anyone who loves drag racing and is critizing this deal should be kicked in the balls.Mr lemonis just saved NHRA's ass as well as all us fans.If and when things get back to somewhat normal and the border opens so i can attend the races again,i'm coming and buying ALL my camping stuff from camping world and telling my friends to do so as well.Support the people who support the sport we all love.My rant for today.

get ready for a lot more views of the camping areas at NHRA events. It already started yesterday. Give these guys a chance and thanks for stepping up.

The zoo in Brainerd might get a little more coverage next year. Maybe Camping World will see to it that some of the expensive prices for camping at some of the tracks are lowered a little and that might entice more fans with motorhomes and fans that may rent motorhomes to stay at the track instead of motels. A win win for Camping World, NHRA, the track, and the fans...not much of a win for the hotels but then that might entice them to lower their prices a little that they always jack up during race week.

Some of those motorhomes & trailers are bigger than apts I used to live in when I was single. Nicer too.

I am 100% hoping for the best, I do think this is his biggest venture/opportunity ever, it is much more than the pick’m up trucks of nashcar, it’s the future of organized drag racing as we know it today

A couple things, Viagra did indeed sponsor Mark Martin when he was driving for Jack Roush. Gander Outdoors had a huge presence down here in Palm Beach, monster store, had a indoor-outdoor restaurant and they used to hold big car shows every month. When they applied to add a motorhome lot the county turned him down so he basically told them to F off and pulled up stakes and left town. I dig the guy...

One last thing, do you think that since the NHRA got a big cash infusion they can find enough $$$ to bring back Lewis Bloom and all the other employees who were let go?

Same here in S/E PA, There was a brand new Gander Mtn. that they built before Marcus took over. The township wouldn't let him bring R/v's in so he bagged the whole location. Now it's an ALDI and a fitness center. The location was vacant for quite a while.

Have no idea about specifics, but it seems that Camping World has a better chance of this being a Win - Win deal than Coke sub brands. A company that big really is just trying to keep their second tier products going by advertising them with something exciting. They just wrote a check and didn't really promote the product much outside of our Niche group so that one could help the other. Our demographic really lends itself to having a product help us and us helping them. I could see a vehicle from any of the classes (not only Pro) being used in their advertising and having Drivers - Riders - Etc. going to one of their facilities near a race to meet people. I think NHRA would be wise to have a dedicated liaision to work with one from Camping World and also get the racers involved. The fact that people have been shut in for almost a year gives a huge opportunity for NHRA to Expand their facilities for RV and Camping especially with the price of lodging in todays world. This could turn out to be the "Shot in the Arm" that is needed to "Show People Drag Racing is Great Again" !
