NASCAR has reccomendations for maintaining proper air pressure in their fan's auto's.

I don't think NHRA has something comparable?

NASCAR gets the drop on us straightliners yet again!

Like any well run company it has to due with the management team! To put it bluntly Glendora hasn't had one in years! Sorry just stating the facts!!!

Look for NHRA for everything, checking the tire pressures on your car, which tissue to blow your nose on, which chicken crosses the road without just trying to get to the other side.

Since they failed so bad, I think I'll just use my sleeve, let my tires run flat, and kill the chicken, it's probably not licensed and insuranced to run that vehicle across the road anyway.

Good Grief.

NASCAR sucks, and I thank GOD each Sunday for the NHRA. I know that many of the peeps on the Mater know a lot more about the NHRA than I do. I probably know a lot more about the inner circles of NAS-nuts, and it blows!!!!

Maybe it's because even the suits know that NHRA fans are a little - no make that a LOT more mechanically inclined that most NASCAR fans?

Last time I needed someone to tell me to check my tires was in high school... once.

You are much wiser with the PC thing than I am.
I was thinking "smarter" instead of "mechanically inclined"!!!

:D:D:D

This post was NOT meant as a slam against those here that do enjoy NASCRAP, secondary to NHRA!!!;)

Actually NASCAR needed this for their fans since most are not astute enough to read the tire pressure which is clearly printed on the door sticker of every car manufactured for a long, long time. That plus you have to know how to use a tire pressure gauge. These two requirements are tough for a majority of the NASCAR crowd.

Fortunately drag race fans are a bit more technically capable and somewhat more literate. They don't need a nanny state prod to maintain their cars.

The key word in your post was "READ"... also to understand that "24" is not 2 by 4... or the number of jeff's car...

You Ron, are 100% right

I have to be able to say things nicely where I work or I get into trouble. Besides, I am a fan of NASCAR too... In fact I love all racing, mostly because it is one of the purest forms of competition & I am very competitive. :D After all, 2nd is just the first LOSER!!! :p

I was thinking she was just better at discrete meanness.

I should watch out, her Dad knows where I live

Nah, what fun is that?

What my Dad knows, I know! Besides, what fun is it being friends if you have to be PC all the time? :p

Ummm... You haven't heard the story about the chic that didn't know you had to turn the valve on for air at the gas station. At least until someone decided to put an end to the misery and clue her in... :p:D

I've never understood that, wouldn't second be the last loser? Still a loser, but then you come in last about it.

Just one of my ponderables, anyway, I'm going to go back to packing now.

I guess it all depends on how you are looking at it. If you write a list from 1 to 10, second follows one & so does everyone else!

Don't forget your cell phone charges, lap top charger, lap top, cell phone, walkman, charger for your walkman, digital camera, extra memory cards, flash drive to store pictures on just in case you run out of space and your charger for your camera... maybe an outlet strip? I think the outlet strip could go into checked baggage. Last hotel room I was in had two outlets that I could get to. I guess if you have room you might fit some fresh clothes in there. :D:D

*** Aw heck, I will just come pack for you. I bet I could get a package of Oreos in without breaking too. :D
