it could to win the championship, yet you release him, then don't call it a gut punch.

You do not think that Tommy Delago is capable of successfully tuning the car for the final two racss? He's pretty damn good and has a ton of experience both with Mike and tuning for multiple teams on his own.

Much respect for the Scag team and Justin’s RTs, but I’m a Doug fan and never bet against A. Johnson. One of the top moments I remember was the blood draining from Doug’s face when Tony made ‘the run’ to take the championship. Go Doug!

Watching Doug win his first championship after fighting for like 26 years was one of the greatest drag racing championship moments that I’ve personally seen. It was right up there with John winning in 2010 after it looked like he was done in 2007. Magical moments.

nowhere in my post did i mention T.D. and his capabilities. my comments were in regard to justin's response.
i think most or all of alexis' half a dozen or so FC wins were tuned by T.D.; for sure he is more than capable.
