Nice to see Ms. Sanford making some noise. Not sure how/if Willowbank is touched by the fires but, Oz is experiencing some hellacious challenges.. Thoughts for our friends there.

Queensland experienced fires a couple months back, but nothing to the extent that they're experiencing down south. It was a brutally hot, dry summer.
To give some context, it was around 65% humidity and 88f air temp when Sanford ran that 3.83 - at night. The day crept up to near 100f (track temp peaked at 135f).

We get fires in Northern Arizona that are bad, almost every year it seems. All in the forest areas. But not as bad as Australia is having. God take care of those folks please.

They always seem to run strong, hope to see them run more NHRA event this year.

A funny car event in Perth was missing its feature because the trucks could not get across the highway to Perth due to fires. The crisis has definitely affected all parts of life.

I saw on the news this morning that they arrested 24 people involved in setting those fires.
