Paul, I'm not a fan of crashes either but I saw a bunch of other crash comps on youtube and decided on making my own.
And I know "there are real people inside those cars," but as long as they walked away, then the footage fine to use. It sucks that the crashes had to happen (I too cringe when someone wrecks) but you can't cry over spilled milk.
I can differentiate. I don't WANT anyone to crash but, if it happens anyways and they walked away, heck yeah I wanna see it. It's interesting to me to see the different ways that cars come apart and how the drivers have to ride them out. Who doesn't sometimes imagine that they're the one in there?
A good friend of mine on classicfunnycarboard was talking about Al Hoffman having one in which video kept showing different engine parts coming out the front of the car that could be identified.
BTW, a friend's teenage daughter did the nacho cheese line on me the other day like it's new so, it must be going around. We were saying that in the 70s.
