The sport's newest racing venue, Concho Valley Dragway, has risen up out of the desert near San Angelo, Texas seemingly overnight.

Being 1/8 mile, that is unlikely but maybe they have room to grow. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Funny Car Chaos run there.

My daughter and granddaughter live in Mckinney Texas. that is why I gave a big estimate because Texas is growing that fast. LOL

Indeed. About 5,000 every day. And there's no telling who or what travels up the heavily-traveled Hwy 75 corridor out of Dallas through McKinney.

Looks like a nice track, however. Maybe those guys are looking for an experienced starter.
