Las Vegas this weekend. In qualifying the difference between #1 and #16 was .055 seconds which is normal so to speak, actually pretty bad compared to the Virginia race
But in the first round of eliminations, the difference between the fastest and slowest car was 0.054 so there was a tighter 16-car field during actual eliminations than in qualifying. Tighter in E1 than qualifying also happened at this years Toyo Tires Nats but the span was "only" 0.066 in the first round. Any of ye number crunchers know if there ever was a tighter elimination 1 round in Pro Stock cars before? (Disclaimer: There were 2 redlight runs in E1 at Pennsylvania and one in Las Vegas, but still...)
